Several hundred women gathered last Friday at Port Townsend’s City Dock for the Women Of the Working Waterfront “Snapshot of Time” group photo.  This was a first time event where women responsible for helping to build the culture, commerce and community were recognized together.

Thank you to Diana Talley for inspiring a team of helpers to get the word out, collect blurbs from everyone and create an awesome spreadsheet of everyone’s connections to the water. Thank you to all of these women who graced the day making it a hugely special event, as well as those who were not able to come in person. Extra thanks to Jennifer Takaki for cookies and to those who stayed late at the Cotton Building to clean up and mop the floor! Lots of photos have been shared on Facebook as well.
