Boat Building Instructor – Full-Time

The full-time Boat Building instructor fulfills the school’s core mission by providing a high-quality educational experience. Instructors teach using methods such as lectures, demonstrations, student feedback, homework assignments, and leading boat building projects. These methods are modeled using industry standards in safety, craftsmanship, and project management. During their first year of teaching, the Instructor will be mentoring with another instructor who has taught at the school for at least five years. Minimum Qualifications include at least three years of industry experience building and repairing boats and a demonstrated ability to teach and explain concepts and tasks to other people.
