Housing Solutions Network is paying close attention to zoning changes that the City of Port Townsend is currently deliberating. The goal of these changes is to remove barriers to the creation of housing, including supporting a mix of housing types and increasing density. If done right, these changes could lead to more housing for local workers; however, we are urging the City to ensure that any code changes lead to the production of more affordable housing for local workers, which has been a demonstrated need for our community.
