Welcome to the 33nd annual Shipwrights Regatta! In 1991 a group of shipwrights working in the Boat Haven ship yard decided it was time to take a day off of working on boats to enjoy sailing on them. The Shipwrights Regatta was born. It was a casual, funky event with limited organization, but was lots of fun. A number of unique trophies were created over the first few years and have helped keep the race true to its roots. If you are new to the event please join in. There will be an awards party after the finish at the Northwest Maritime Center with free pizza and beer. You could also win a free haul out from the Port of Port Townsend or Sea Marine. Everyone is welcome.
