 THE GOLDEN RULE PEACE FLOTILLA 
Famed nuclear disarmament ketch Golden Rule, intends to tour the Salish Sea this Summer with stops at Port Townsend, Port Ludlow, US Navy locations, the Wooden Boat Festival and elsewhere. A Peace Flotilla of boats is planned to greet Golden Rule as she passes by Port Townsend bound for Port Ludlow, on the 27th of July. For further info keep yer ear to the cyber ground. A year’s accumulation of all kinds of cool and useful stuff, gear, sails, anchors, tools, rope etc. looking for a home and all for a song, PAY WHAT YOU THINK’S FAIR, on the honor system.

. SMALL CRAFT FESTIVAL AT PORT LUDLOW MARINA: FRI & SAT, JULY 26 & 27
A new event that coincides with the finish of the Salish 100, to replace the Port Townsend Pocket Yacht Palooza. Why looza the Palooza? We dunno; but we do know that now it’s gonna cost ya t’play. Coincidentally, Golden Rule will be there for staging a protest further down Hood Canal at the Trident Nuclear Submarine Base.

. PORT TOWNSEND SAILING ASSOCIATION TED PIKE REGATTA:SAT, AUGUST 3
A wild, annual PT Sailing Association race that traditionally features a Le Mans beach start, weighing anchor, hoisting sail and a course around PT Bay. Hopefully, we’ll be racing LEAF. PTSail.org
