In 1984 Randy Powers started Westside Marine in a small, rented garage in Port of Port Townsend’s Boat Haven. The business soon outgrew the space and moved to the current location on Hwy. 20. For almost 40 years, boating enthusiasts of Western Washington have turned to Westside as a resource for boats, supporting gear, service and advice. Westside Marine is a long-time authorized dealer of the most well-respected boating equipment in the industry, including Hewescraft boats, Yamaha and Suzuki engines, EZLoader trailers.
In February, 2023, Randy decided it was time to do more fishing, so he sold the business to SEA Marine. The two businesses have great synergy and we are all excited to offer a broader range of services and products to our customers–boaters of all types and boats and engines of all sizes!
I was fortunate to have great, hard working, dedicated employees that contributed to the success of Westside Marine. I will miss them and the great customer friends I made over the past 38 years. I am confident Chris, Pat and their crew, along with the existing staff, will continue to provide great service to all customers. I look forward to more friends & family time in the summers and of course more fishing.
