WBF coming soon – Join the PTMTA booth tenders

While the Woodenboat Foundation has a long list of volunteer positions open, the PTMTA also needs booth tenders for September 7th set up, and the festival itself September 8th, 9th, and 10th. Pat Mahon is standing by to sign you up. Volunteers get festival passes and have the opportunity to talk about your business with the thousands of attendees. If we have several tenders every day, it is a party and there is lots of time to look around.  Please contact Pat and arrange your participation with him. You can also email ptmarinetrades@gmail.com.

Local maritime participation in this event enhances public awareness about our active and thriving industry here and regionally. It makes clear that our maritime culture in Jefferson County is real, not only historically, but very much in the present with no signs of slowing down. Come to educate and inspire, learn and be inspired. We never know what the returns will be but it is always a good investment in our collective futures.

Besides, you just might have fun!

Thank you!

The PTMTA is also sponsoring the Boatyard Stage featuring several of our local marine trades giving presentations and demonstrations.
