Just a friendly reminder to our wonderful PTMTA members that the Annual Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival was originally a creation of our local marine trades and mariner community. In the true spirit of this event, our marine trades and local mariners participating in either a leisure, host, or presenter capacity are the heart and soul of this event. Come and enjoy! Thursday Sept. 7th  is locals day/night (free entry as everyone sets up) and Thursday’s lifetime achievement awards this year will be presented to Ray Speck, Betsy Davis and Neil Rabinowitz. Come support these great people and then shake it all out dancing in the big tent. Lend a hand to the PTMTA crew setting up at the head of the marina near the SEA Marine wash down. Join us Friday the 8th through Sunday the 10th to promote your business and community in the PTMTA booth. Join the RowRowRowMyBoat Rally from Boat Haven to Point Hudson gathering at the launch ramp at 9:30 am.

This LOCAL EVENT is to honor all of you and the work you do every day, and the thousands of visitors, many who come every year, are here to learn from and be inspired by our talented, skilled, and passionate maritime community.
