The PTMTA hosted its 2024 Annual General Membership meeting on November 12th. The event covered some important topics in detail, plus guest speakers that included Eron Berg, Port of PT,  Ellie DiPietro of the JC Historical Society, and  Chrissy McLean of the NWMC, More on their projects soon.

Our annual meeting is generally a time to confirm nominees for the next board of trustees and often votes are taken at the event. The wild weather of the evening may have influenced attendance, making the attendee count short of a quorum. That means your vote is needed!

We are pleased that Mike Novack and Ginny Wilson have stepped up as new nominees as well as John Simpson as proxy for Westside Marine returning after several years since he last served. Pat Mahon is running for another term and will continue to be proactive for the PTMTA at trade shows and the Wooden Boat Festival, all, if you, our members so approve.
