Please join Urban Ocean Lab on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 2:30 pm ET, (11:30am PT) for a remote panel discussion on the federal government’s role in supporting and preserving working waterfronts, with opening remarks from Congresswoman Chellie Pingree and Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson.

Potential topics include provisions and considerations for urban working waterfronts, climate adaptation and decarbonization policies that Congress can enact, community engagement, workforce development, waterfront mapping and data collection, and government collaboration.
