The future use** and upgrade of Union Wharf will be discussed and public comment around this topic and the small cruise ships is expected. Port commissioners are generally agreed on NO LONG TERM contract with ACL the American Cruise Lines company but how best to manage their visits as they look at their budget is an important part of the discussion.
**this upcoming Port meeting is about the Commissioner’s decision to leave the 1.2 million dollar INVESTMENT $$ in the budget or not. INVESTMENT only for high voltage shore power and dolphins that would be needed for the cruise ships.
