For all the women who love the sea and are deeply connected to it; perhaps as a boat owner, marine trades, captain, rower, paddler, passage maker, photographer, writer, deckhand, tall ships sailor, Fisherman, artist, musician, business owner, storyteller, maritime educator, port employee, commissioner, marine biologist, boatbuilder…;  this will be a snapshot of time here in Port Townsend.  A community photograph of all the women who are now or have helped build our working waterfront, it’s commerce, culture and community. We are the 51%.
