The PTMTA collects funds earmarked for our marine trades people who are dealing with injury or health crisis that interferes with their ability to work. We understand that many of our members are under insured and cash in the hand could pay a bill or buy needed groceries, and at the very least, communicate our appreciation of their contributions to our industry’s success. Our fund has been sadly limited for too long and the PTMTA board is seeking to boost our fund raising efforts as we identify increasing numbers of our community who could benefit from it.
