The PTMTA remains supportive of  Sea Marine’s needed expansion onto a portion of the “back 40” as a zoned and relevant maritime use of the space. The PTMTA, among others, have concerns about leased parking (not zoned/gray area) for the space that has to date been “flex-space” especially if prioritized. Through years of proposals and negotiations, we note that Sea Marine has gone above&beyond to satisfy environmental, stakeholder, & Port questions. We applaud their responsible business model and hope for their success to the satisfaction of all concerned. We continue to see Point Hudson as an important maritime area for our working waterfront, providing living wage jobs, education, and inspiration.
