If you are reading this on Sunday, your really shouldn’t be…because you should be down at Pope Marine Park in Port Townsend welcoming the Seventy 48 racers and checking out the Race to AK boats at the R2AK Ruckus. At least that is what this editor thinks. Many of our local mariners partake in these adventures and tests of human strength and commitment. Saturday and Sunday will be a big day as the Seventy 48 racers trickle in and each and everyone of them deserves a heroes welcome. As for the Race to Alaska, it looks like Ketchikan is getting pretty excited already…
