Pre-Covid, there was an annual fly-in to Jefferson County International Airport and it may be that this August 3rd event is a reinvention of the earlier event. In any case, there is often a connection between sailing and flying and the trades that apply to both. The event is being put on by the Production Alliance.

Our inaugural Airport Day celebrates aviation in Jefferson County and the Port of Port Townsend 100 Year Anniversary. The event will be held at the Jefferson County Airport on Saturday August 3rd from 10AM – 3PM. Featuring Historic Aircraft Displays, Helicopter and Hot Air Balloon Rides, Classic Car Show, Live Music, Food Vendors, Face Painting and more!!!

We have a fantastic group of organizations helping to bring this event to life including the Port of Port Townsend, Port Townsend Aero Museum, Commemorative Air Force, Historic Helicopters, East Jefferson Fire and Rescue, Dream Catcher Balloon, Pilots Association and others.
