ROOM FOR RENT The Forest House is a 2000 sqft 5 bedroom 3 bath house on 5 acres of native cedar forest on Black bear Rd near snagstead in Port Townsend, WA. It’s a homeshare where most spaces are community access with some communal meals and activities together. Our garage auxiliary bedroom is available now for $750 per month. The room is 11.7’x11.7’. The bedroom is outside the main house so it offers the best privacy out of all the rooms in our homeshare. All in house common areas are shared together. Our mission is to provide affordable, dignified and socially supportive housing for all income levels in east Jefferson county. We actively seek diversity. All sex, age, creed, orientation are welcome to apply. Feel free to be your weird self. It’s fine. The lease includes full use of all amenities and activities. Single occupancy. Roomshares, partners, spouses and children are additional $40 pp rent. See utility notes. Subject to approval due to septic capacity. Includes parking for 1 car. $100/month each additional car. Free bike parking inside garage. Pets with cleaning fee and permission from existing tenants. No illegal or trafficked animals. Utilities extra, shared pro-rata by all long term rental tenants of any age. For the health of everyone, all new tenants will be expected to choose a lifestyle avoiding tobacco products. Our interview process for this shared family home is a short conversation with the property owners to screen for timing, financial responsibility and homeshare amenable mindset, then an interview with the existing tenants to look for good chemistry and a mutual interest in living together, followed by a formal WLA lease application and credit check with a credit reporting fee, and ending with a rental agreement signing and move in.
