HazMat Collection Event at Port-sometime end of September

From Port Environmental Specialist Kimberlie Webber:

Hello all,
I know the closing of MRW has been hard on A LOT of you. I promise you that I am doing my best to find a disposal program that works for us here at the Port. I have [tentatively] scheduled the company Crystal Clean to come out here to the Port at the end of September for a collection event. While I am acting as the middleman for this event, the Port is not responsible for the costs associated with disposal of your chemicals, I am simply just trying to make it easier for all of us to get rid of these hazardous materials in a safe, organized manner.
HOW TO DO IT
For this to actually work, I need the tenants who are sitting on hazardous waste (e.g., solvents, antifreeze, pesticides, gasoline, aerosol cans, acids, etc.) to, to the best of their ability, fill out the inventory paperwork (attached to this email) that lists what you have and how much of it. When completed, you will email it back to me (kimberlie@portofpt.com). I will then fill in any holes that there may be, and then submit it to Crystal Clean. If you cannot figure out what to list or are not sure if the material is considered hazardous, give me a shout (360-301-0087).
PRICING
Since the prices of disposal are changing constantly, they do not have disposal prices listed. They need to know what we are collecting and how much before they can give us a dollar amount. Once they receive the inventory lists, they can give you a quote. Again, it is YOUR responsibility to pay for this disposal, the Port is just facilitating the event.
I will let you know the specific date of the collection event as soon as we figure it out, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up early on so we can get the ball rolling. We have one month until the event, the sooner we can get the inventory lists, the better.
